Quit your bitching

For those complaining about my American Idol coverage (all one of you), here's a thing I wrote about 10 of my fave punk albums of all time.

McG's must-have punk rock CDs

Hopefully some of my punk cred will be restored in your eyes.

If that doesn't do it, then check out the new site I've been working on here.

Top 10 punk list is weak, maybe a good start for a 13 year old.

Peel site looks worth exploring, although he played a lot of horrible dance shit, I hate it when old guys try to be hip.

How 'bout you just stop writing about Idol over here.

You want a job at Philebrity? We're hiring interns.

What's on your top 10 list? Belle and Sebastian? Bloc Party?

Concur that some of the dance shit that Peel played was just that. But a good tune would always be not too far away.

I'm assuming the interns "hired" for Philebrity work for free?

I always thought you were a funny fucker.

I say let's call a truce and get back to our lame blogs.

God don't want me yet - I got more American Idol articles to write.

Dave, I fear all this american idol is making you soft! How can you pick "I Don't Want to Grow Up" over the far superior "Milo Goes to College"?! Not that "Grow up" is by any means bad, for it is great, but Milo was their pinnacle of greatness.

Actually, I just picked up "Two Things at Once" at the farmer's market for $3.99.

"Milo Goes to College" probably is better. you're right.

Is it wrong to like "Everything Sux?" I really dug that album.

Although the new Descendents was kind of a let down.

Dave, do you ever party with Milo?
He lives in Wilmington, DE....

Is Delaware's best record store really the farmers market, wouldn't suprise me in the least. How anyone could live in that cultureless void of a state always baffles me.

I know Milo was living in Delaware at one point. I don't know of anyone who actually ever saw him though.

I suppose the best "proper" record store in Delaware would be Bert's in Newark.

But, if you look hard enough at the New Castle Farmer's Market you can find punk stuff there.

Picked up recently Flipper - Generic Flipper (2 copies!), Iggy & the Stooges - Raw Power, Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets.

As for living in Delaware, who the fuck knows why I'm there.

That said, it's all in the mind and one can find culture pretty easily online and not ever have to leave the house, ya know?!

It is not wrong to like "Everything Sucks". It was a good album and I like d it as well.

I'll agree on the new one, while it was the best Bad Religion album the Descendents ever made, it sure got boring fast.

No, not dissing Bloc Party. I should have put Arcade Fire instead. I like Bloc Party.

Cool. You had me worried. Haven't heard much of Arcade Fire to form an opinion.
