Will Paula Abdul bring American Idol franchise down?

I know 'American Idol' is a far cry from punk rock, but I get paid to write about Idol and people want to read it. Wish I could same the same about punk.

But a man has to pay the bills, so here is my latest Idol article.

Jesus christ this american idol shit is boring, way to lose readers. It's a sad day when you bring that insipid crap over to this blog.

No question American Idol is boring. If you actually read my articles I rip that show a new a-hole every week.

As for losing readers, I've gained readers with the Idol articles.

In one day I get 5,000 people reading one of my articles on Idol - that's more people than read this blog in an entire month!

If you can't hang with Idol stuff, then go fuck off.

There is plenty of other content on the site, free MP3s and other shit for complainers like you.

It's even sadder that you consider 5000 readers some sort of great achievement...and there are 10 dozen other blogs with more interesting mp3's than this one-I surely wouldn't come here expecting to hear something interesting, your musical tastes run 4 months-20 years behind better music blogs.

Maybe someday you can get a job at Philebrity!?

Philebrity? Ha ha ha. You're a funny fucker, I'll give you that.

You're probably the kind of dickhead who reads Pitchfork daily.

I don't consider 5,000 readers on one article an acheivement. I'm pointing out that even though American Idol sucks out loud, there is a tremendous amount of interest in it.

I get paid to write about AI, and my blog is about me and my writing about music. the thing speaks for itself pal. All you're doing is stating the obvious and missing the fact that I'm taking the piss out of myself for stooping to such journalistic lows as to actually cover the show.

As for my musical tastes, just because I don't post Arcade Fire and Decemberist MP3s for freeloading leechers like you doesn't mean shit.

My taste in music isn't the top seller at Insound this week. I actually do my homework and educate myself about older bands that I missed the first go round.

Go to the other blogs you think are better and kindly fuck off.

Yeah, it's insane how many people like American Idol, which I personally find offensive.

I admit to being addicted to something about it, but I can't exactly figure out what it is. The music is completely abhorrent to mew. I haven't given a contestant a second thought post-finale. Its like watching a 4 car pileup on I-95, I guess.
